Good morning, good afternoon and good evening wherever you are! Today I was very lucky to snag half an hour with pro bassist and friend of mine Chris Childs. Chris has been working with UK stadium band Thunder for 30 years or so now and also works with Tyketto (originally from the US) and with me in Guitar Heads and Atack. He’s an extremely busy and in demand session and live player and I have been wanting to get him in front of my cameras for a while now.

Today we chatted about his new bass guitar, currently quite rare being possibly the first of this model in the country, why he likes it, his rig and how he plays it. Later we got onto what he thinks of Organ players and how he adjusts his style and approach to playing with them, and delved into the differences between organ and synth players too!
